Miniature Air Gap Inspection Crawler

This tracked vehicle, only 1 1/4" in thickness, carries high resolution video cameras to inspect the rotor and stator surfaces inside an electrical generator.  Nova Technology designed and fabricated the control system as well as the tool.

• Expandable tractor travels 360° around a generator field
